About the Event
Set within the soaring Gothic architecture of Washington National Cathedral, the Bishop Walker School’s Annual Dinner 2026 brought together community leaders and supporters for an inspiring evening of purpose and impact.
Bishop Walker School for Boys is a tuition-free Episcopal school dedicated to nurturing the academic and personal growth of boys from neighborhoods throughout the District, Maryland, and Virginia. Produced by Stratus Firm, the evening celebrated the school’s mission while raising critical funds to ensure every student continues to receive a transformative education at no cost.
Scope of Services
Creative Development & Event Discovery
- Strategic discovery sessions designed to uncover the purpose behind the event, define success metrics, and align the experience with organizational goals and audience expectations.
- Collaborative development of the event’s creative direction, including thematic exploration, narrative shaping, tone-setting, and early guest journey mapping.
- Identification of operational realities and opportunities, including budget considerations, venue dynamics, timing, technical requirements, and stakeholder priorities.
- Creative concepting that translates ideas into actionable event frameworks, establishing a clear path from vision to execution while ensuring every element serves the larger experience.
- Partnership-driven ideation that challenges assumptions, encourages fresh thinking, and builds experiences designed to resonate long after the event concludes.
Budget Management
- Comprehensive budget development and oversight, including forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, and real-time reporting across all phases of production.
- Management of vendor proposals, payment schedules, approvals, and financial workflows to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with client priorities.
- Strategic stewardship of event resources with a focus on maximizing impact, maintaining accountability, and ensuring every investment supports the overall guest experience and production goals.
Venue Logistics Preparation
- Strategic site visits and venue assessments designed to evaluate event flow, operational feasibility, production needs, and overall guest experience opportunities within the space.
- Coordination with clients, venues, and vendor partners to review logistical considerations including load-in access, space configurations, staging areas, power availability, and operational constraints.
- Development of venue-focused recommendations and planning guidance to support efficient execution, proactive problem solving, and seamless integration of production elements onsite.
Programming & Show Production
- Strategic oversight of all audiovisual and show production elements, including technical direction, vendor management, show flow development, and onsite execution strategy.
- Development and management of comprehensive run-of-show documentation, cueing structures, and stage operations to ensure every moment lands with clarity, precision, and impact.
- End-to-end management of speaker logistics and show content, including briefing development, presentation coordination, green room hospitality, rehearsals, and backstage operations.
- Creative and technical collaboration with clients and production partners on content integration, multimedia storytelling, and presentation assets to create dynamic, audience-centered experiences.
Food & Beverage: Advisory & Oversight
- Strategic guidance on menu planning, hospitality flow, and food & beverage logistics to support a cohesive and guest-centered experience.
- Advisory support during the planning process, helping clients evaluate options, align service styles with event goals, and anticipate operational considerations.
- Coordination with catering partners onsite to ensure food & beverage service aligns with the event timeline, guest experience, and overall production flow.
- Oversight of hospitality execution during the event, providing an additional layer of operational support while clients retain responsibility for vendor contracting and pre-event management.
Registration Advisory
- In partnership C2, we provided strategic guidance on registration flow, guest arrival experience, and platform coordination to support efficient and guest-friendly event check-in operations.
- Advisory support on registration logistics, including nametag production coordination, staffing recommendations, seating process consultation, and platform collaboration workflows.
- Onsite oversight of registration operations in partnership with client representatives and staffing teams, ensuring a smooth guest experience while maintaining clear operational ownership and support structures.
Post-Event Services
- Post-event reporting and KPI analysis designed to measure impact, evaluate outcomes, and provide actionable insights for future planning.
- End-to-end project closeout support, including invoicing coordination, budget reconciliation, and financial wrap-up in partnership with client stakeholders.
- Structured post-event debriefs focused on performance review, lessons learned, and identifying opportunities to strengthen and evolve future experiences.
