Washingtonian Magazine "Best of Washington" 2018

Event Challenge: There is nothing like a curveball ( or rather a curve puck) when it comes to events. Within days of the event, we found out that the Washington Capitols would be playing in a Stanley Cup Final game during the event. Although exciting for DC and our team, we had to change some plans last minute. Adjustments were made to valet and parking to ensure guests could still easily arrive despite street closures. Once the first face-off occurred, a giant screen was used to display the game. Capitols signs were placed throughout the venue, so everyone could cheer on the team. This change in our game plan was completely worth it - that night the Capitols WON the Stanley Cup!!
