Current Job Opening: Spring 2025 Production Administrator
Stratus Firm is seeking a part-time Production Admin for Spring 2025 to join its growing, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate must be excited about representing the Stratus brand while continuing to support a rapidly growing company in the events industry.

As our Production Admin, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our high-impact events to life. From supporting the planning and production of events to managing daily office operations, your efforts will ensure Stratus Firm runs efficiently while delivering exceptional experiences for our clients. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to research, create event documents, and maintain seamless communication with vendors, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. Whether organizing internal agendas or contributing on-site at events, your organizational skills, adaptability, and commitment to excellence will help elevate every project you touch.
Responsibilities include:
Support planning and production for events managed by other team members
Efficiently manage daily office tasks, including checking mail and Stratus email inbox, to ensure timely communication and organization within the workplace
Organize and manage agendas and document storage for the internal team
Support multiple teams in research, floor plan creation, timelines, budgets, and other event documents for the successful execution of events
Maintain positive relationships and liaise with event vendors including caterers, venues, photographers, entertainment, etc
Work on-site at events in various capacities
Qualifications:
Interest in the logistics and details of event planning
Working knowledge with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite products
Proficiency in learning new software and web-based platforms
Excellent attention to detail, and incredible organizational skills
Proven success in managing competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must be able to communicate across all groups in the company and clients.
Ability to problem solve and think “on the fly” and get hands dirty if need be
Lives in, or is willing to relocate to, the Washington, DC area
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required for employment
Ideal Candidates:
Have a “solutions first” approach to client interactions and problem solving
Must be extremely organized and have prior experience with managing their own schedules, setting and meeting deadlines and project managing
Have a sharp eye for detail and won’t rest until everything is as close as possible to perfect, including tracking and sticking to a budget
Be a meticulous multi-tasker with strong communication skills & leadership qualities
Is a team player- you work hard and you can play hard. You enjoy being around your colleagues and are willing to put in time to make sure everyone comes out on top.
Comfortable communicating clearly and effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates. You know how to adapt your communication style to instill confidence.
Compensation
Compensation is $25/hour with a targeted max schedule of 30 hours a week. This position is in-person at the Stratus Office in Dupont Circle, Washington DC.
Time Commitment: January 27 - May 30, 2025 (with the option to extend)
